The telephone switching technician course offers specialized training in the field. We must know that it is currently necessary to know the different fields of the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional area communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for preventive maintenance of the equipment and services of the telephone switching equipment and the necessary knowledge for the operation and supervision of telephone switch of communications services, following specified procedure.

- Apply the configuration and maintenance procedures of telephone services according to technical specifications. - Explain the procedures for the configuration of services identifying their operational parameters. - Distinguish the parameters used in telephone services to carry out the processes of tarification of the use of such services, according to given specifications. - Perform the verification of the configuration of the services and verify possible interactions and incompatibilities, following some given specifications. - Configure a new telephone service. - Solve the incidents detected in telephone services following specific specifications. - Describe the incidents that occur in telephone systems taking into account the services they offer. - Classify the tools for detection and notification of incidents and monitoring of telephone services, depending on their scope of supervision, services and parameters observed. -Describe the techniques used to isolate and diagnose the possible causes that cause incidents in telephone services according to the type of the same. - Explain the systematic procedures for the resolution of incidents depending on the type of incidence and the service it affects. - Solve simulated breakdowns in telephone systems, following specific specifications.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have connection to public networks for transport and transmission of data, in the Network and Communications Department.

The Telephone Switching Technician course prepares to acquire the necessary knowledge for preventive maintenance of the equipment and services of the telephone switching equipment and the necessary knowledge for the operation and supervision of the telephone switch Parameters of performance and quality of communications services, following specified procedure.
