Tourist guide services provision in urban environments

In the field of tourism and hospitality, it is necessary to know the different tourism guide fields, within the professional area of tourists and visitors. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the provision of tourist guide services in urban environments.

- Analyze the accompaniment and assistance service to tourists that will be the subject of provision in the urban environment. - Offer optional activities, using existing patrimonial resources, respecting the program established by the organizing company, the heritage and environment. - Develop the activity of tour for cultural and patrimonial interest in urban itineraries. - Improve the quality of the process of providing guidance, accompaniment or assistance to tourists to cultural and patrimonial interests in the urban environment.

It develops its professional activity in the area of tourism, dedicated to the guidance of tourists and the provision of other tourist information services, in entities of a public or private nature, regardless of the size of the company, both on their own and of others, regardless of their legal form. It develops its activity depending, where appropriate, functional and/or hierarchically of a superior. You can be responsible for sometimes, for seasons or stable. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent administration. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles and universal design or design for all people are applied in accordance with applicable regulations.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF2579_3 Tourism Guide Services in urban environments, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of hospitality and tourism, specifically in tourism guide, within the professional area of tourists and visitors, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the provision of tourist guide services in urban environments.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
