UF0083 DESIGN OF LOCAL TOURIST PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

- Evaluate tourism potential in a certain area that allows detecting opportunities for the creation and development of local tourism products. - Put into practice and evaluate strategies for the creation, improvement and development of tourism products and services in local environments, taking into account the tourist potential of the area, current demand, potential and environmental protection.

It develops its activity, fundamentally, in public or public-private entities whose purpose is the planning and territorial tourism development. It exercises its functions as contact personnel with the users of the service or in supervised management positions, depending on the size and complexity of the structure in which it is integrated, or for which it works from the private company.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0083 training unit design of local tourism products and services certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those who are dedicated to the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically to tourism promotion and who intend to obtain knowledge related to the promotion and commercialization of local tourism products and services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
