Summary
In the field of the maritime and fishing sector, it is necessary to know the different risks and dangers to which the working people are exposed in order to prevent any unwanted incident, thus, the main objective of this course is to facilitate the students the necessary knowledge to carry out the different surveillance operations of the fishing vessel, as well as the maintenance and grease of the boarding elements, the work of loading, discharging and rowing, and the maintenance of the Fishing equipment, with quality criteria, in safety conditions and complying with current regulations in terms of prevention of occupational hazards and environmental management.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the training unit Prevention of occupational and environmental risks in the auxiliary and support activities in the port, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed at all those of the maritime fishing sector who, due to their job occupation or personal interest, intend to acquire the knowledge related to the different surveillance operations of the fishing vessel, as well as the maintenance and grease of the on -board elements, the loading, discharge and start, and the maintenance and repair of fishing equipment, with quality criteria, safety and respect for the environment.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
