Summary
At present, the problem of air pollution is deriving in multiple problems, not only at the local level, but also globally. Therefore, the correct use of purification and control of atmospheric emissions is vital to prevent such problems and improve the quality of the environment. Thus, in the field of safety and environment it is necessary to know the different fields of air pollution control, within the professional area of environmental management. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for prevention and maintenance in the purification and control of atmospheric emissions.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1911 Prevention and maintenance in the treatment and control of atmospheric emissions, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training.
Who is it addressed to?
This course adjusts to the learning itinerary belonging to the UF1911 Prevention and Maintenance in the purification and control of atmospheric emissions, regulated in Royal Decree 1785/2011, which allows students to acquire professional competences to perform sampling operations and “in situ” measures in the field of air pollution.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
