Summary

Psychoeducational intervention is a set of accompaniment techniques and strategies based on learning theories and evolutionary development, whose fundamental objective is to facilitate and optimize the learning process, through the development of cognitive and social skills. In this University Course of Psychoeducational Intervention in students with visual disabilities + university course in therapeutic pedagogy we will know all the basic concepts related to the special educational needs of this group of students for its adequate school intervention. In addition with this course you will know thoroughly the therapeutic pedagogy.

Goals

- Differentiate between the concepts of disability, deficiency and disability. - Know the teaching-learning and attention process. - Describe the most general aspects of visual disability. - Summarize the intervention process in students with visual disabilities. - Intervene psychoeducatively with students with visual disabilities. - Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). Double degree: - University degree in therapeutic pedagogy with 5 ECTS university credits - University degree in psychoeducational intervention in students with visual disabilities with 5 ECTS university credits. Scoring course as merits for access oppositions to the teaching public function in all CC. AA., According to R.D. 276/2007 of February 23 (BOE 2/3/2007). This is carried out within the permanent training plan of the Antonio de Nebrija University
