Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to be able to carry out the different dental radiology techniques, in addition to knowing the basic aspects of the main oral diseases.

- Know thoroughly the structure that makes up a dental clinic and identification of the main instruments found in it. - Know the basic aspects of oral anatomy and tissues found in the oral cavity. - Define dental radiology and know its history. - Distinguish between radiological equipment, radiographic image, radiographic film, plates and revealing equipment. - Differentiate intraoral and extraoral techniques. - Expand knowledge about caries and main oral diseases. - Study the basic and specific aspects of radiological protection specializing in the field. - Deepen the techniques of action on radiological protection to know how to act professionally. - Know the areas of health action at the level of radiological protection attending to the most relevant factors in the development of professional activity.
