Applied Occupational Therapy Course

Occupational therapy is the set of techniques, methods and actions that have the objective of preventing the disease and promoting the health of people who have suffered some kind of injury or disease that incapacitates them in some aspect of daily life. It covers the work, mental, physical and social areas, so that it works to offer a better quality of life to the people who require it. This course aims to provide information about the different techniques and methods used to achieve these objectives.

Complementary and accessory training aimed at professionals in exercise, or general information for any person interested in the subject.

This course prepares you to know the main techniques and methods that are carried out in the field of applied occupational therapy, taking into account the pathology presented by the person and the needs that it demands to cover. This training action does not enable to exercise as an occupational therapist or other regulated health profession, nor is it has a continuing training for health professionals. The objective of this applied occupational therapy course is to provide complementary and accessory training aimed at work professionals, or general information for any person interested in the subject.

This course is aimed at university diplomas in occupational therapy, and university graduates in occupational therapy, who wish to perform complementary and/or specialization training in the area of health occupational therapy.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
