Basic Geriatrics Techniques Course

The increase that the elderly population in Spain has been experienced in recent decades has led to the group that forms this age of age becoming a significant percentage within the population pyramid. The structural change is having its consequences in various fields with the family or social, health or economic policy, thus passing the group of elders to collect a prominence that had not had in past times. The course prepares you to know what they consist of and how the most important gerontological care process should be carried out, through a solid theoretical foundation and updated information that contacts social reality.

This course is aimed at people who feel interested in the field of health and wish to focus their professional life towards this field, and to all those who, being working in this field, need new knowledge in this branch.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
