Summary
The mental health of the elderly has the same importance as in the rest of the ages. In fact, approximately 15 % of people over 60 suffer some mental disorder according to the World Health Organization, being dementia, depression and anxiety disorders with the highest incidence. Thanks to this course in indicators and risks in the mental health of the elderly, it offers a wide updated on indicators and risks of mental health in the old man, as well as performing a geriatric assessment to modules on the most frequent mental disorders in older people and recommendations and strategies for their treatment.
