Facial Treatments Course: Superior Course of Technical Assistant in Aesthetic Medicine: Facial Medical-Esthetics Treatments

Currently, the aesthetic medicine sector and health tourism (medical spa) are in clear growth, despite the crisis. The aesthetic medicine sector in Spain moves a figure of 1000 million euros per year. According to the report of the data published by the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine in its last Congress, visits to specialized centers increased by 20%. The annual growth of the aesthetic medicine sector in Spain is between 8 to 10% per year. There is a clear change in tendency in terms of aesthetic procedures, 85% of consumers prefer aesthetic medical treatments to surgical treatments. This course offers training to know the role of the technical assistant in facial medical-static alterations.

- Know in a general way of the therapy in facial aesthetic medicine. It will be about beauty canons. The facial aging and the different treatments made by a doctor in an aesthetic medical consultation will be reviewed. - Address basic knowledge about skin anatomy and histology, and its functioning or physiology. - Learn the basic knowledge for an approach to the most common lesions as a health tool. - Knowing how to apply a diagnosis to identify the origin of the problem and advise palliative, corrective and/or preventive treatments, as well as the realization of a posterior dermocosmetic council, which is essential to prolong over time the results obtained after treatment. - Know the main action protocols and ATME role in some of the medical-study interventions. - Learn aesthetic facial treatments according to the ingredients that can contain cosmetic products, their proportion and application with the purpose that ATME can make a correct dispensation and appropriate advice for home use according to the individual characteristics of the consumer. - Know the guidelines for the patient to be aware of the home dermocosmetic care of his skin.

Medical-Esthetic Centers

This course prepares you to know which are the main facial medical-study alterations and how they are addressed by the doctor in an aesthetic medicine consultation, in addition to developing guidelines and protocols to attend the aesthetic doctor before, during and after an aesthetic medical treatment.

Those professionals who want to work in the aesthetic medicine sector and seek to improve in the language, knowledge and protocols to know how to attend and collaborate in an aesthetic medical center.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
