Within the world of safety and prevention, it is necessary to know the different fields of fire and maintenance prevention, within the professional area of security and environment. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the maintenance of material means for interventions in fires and emergencies, more specifically for the coordination of interventions.

- Perform the preparation and commissioning of personal protective equipment, according to type of intervention, checking the absence of defects and breakdowns and applying safe placement protocols. - Perform the preparation, maintenance and review of autonomous breathing equipment, verifying by use checks. - Perform the preparation, commissioning and basic maintenance of the equipment and tools used in the interventions, checking their correct operation and operability, according to safety standards. - Perform first level maintenance and state verification and emergency vehicles, according to benefits and type of service, checking their operation and the operation of security measures. - Perform the provisions of emergency vehicles, verifying compliance with safety measures and their assembly and stowage, depending on the type of vehicle. - Establish the methods of coordinating vehicles and means used in the development of interventions, to ensure execution in the shortest possible time and with the highest security guarantees. - Obtain the initial necessary information to determine the vehicles, means, strategies and tactics necessary in the first instance for emergency resolution. - Describe the procedures to be used to achieve the coordinated action of vehicles and media, establishing an action plan. - Cite the parameters that must be controlled so that the media used can fulfill their function. - Recognize the incidents that prevent the achievement of the required benefit and the correction protocols, continuously analyzing the emergency to adapt the action plan to the real situation.

It develops its professional activity in firefighters dedicated to fire and maintenance prevention throughout the national territory, as a worker dependent on public administrations (state, regional and local), as well as medium and large companies, being able to exercise international collaboration actions.

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of safety and environment, more specifically those linked to the prevention of fires and maintenance, within the professional area of safety and prevention, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the coordination of interventions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
