Summary
At present, the aging of the population in advanced societies is a reality. Life expectancy grows constantly, which generates great demand within health professionals and care that must attend to a large number of users with age of age. One of the fundamental care is based on physical activity, since controlled and programmed physical exercise is considered one of the factors that will contribute the most to the elderly enjoy greater vitality and quality of life. With the realization of this course, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to develop the techniques related to gerontogimnasia, in order to provide older people an adapted and adequate opportunity for the promotion of their physical activity and, therefore, of an improvement both at the physical level as well as psychological.

With the realization of the present course you will acquire the necessary knowledge to develop activities of gerontogimnasia, combining different physical exercises aimed at improving the quality of life and well -being of the elderly.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed at all those who, either for professional reasons or personal interest, intend to acquire knowledge related to the physical activity of the elderly, the improvement that such activity entails for these people, for their well -being and the improvement and/or prevention of certain diseases related to mobilization in advanced ages.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
