History course of the twentieth century: social and political movements in contemporary age

Humanity during the last century has suffered deep and accelerated transformations. Aspects such as the consolidation of nation-states, the expansion of capitalism, industrialization, totalitarianisms, scientific advances and new artistic expressions have coexist with world wars, social revolutions and economic crises. Thus, this course aims to explain and analyze the most important historical processes of the twentieth century, in order to encourage and improve knowledge in relation to the history of mankind.

- Determine the most relevant historical facts of the contemporary world and identify their main characteristics being able to locate them in time and space, valuing their political, economic, cultural and social aspects. - Understand international relations in the different states in the twentieth century, understanding their historical involvement, their causes and their consequences. - Recognize the cold war as the political, economic, social, military, informative and scientific confrontation initiated at the end of World War II between the Western bloc led by the United States, and the East Block released by the Soviet Union. - Point out the main manifestations and movements that the students made throughout the twentieth century and the reasons that began these protests. - Study the great voltage spotlights after the Cold War: Middle East. - Identify the factors that led to the collapse of communism and the repercussions that it had over all humanity.

This course, history of the twentieth century: social and political movements in the contemporary age, gives students the knowledge, skills, competences and skills required in the performance of a correct and successful task the workplace of history. As well as knowing the most relevant contents in relation to social and political movements in contemporary age.

This course called, history of the twentieth century: social and political movements in contemporary age, is aimed at the professionals of the world of history, specifically those people who show special interest in social and political movements and constructions of contemporary age, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the evolution and birth of history.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
