The master in psychological intervention in situations of crisis, emergencies and catastrophes is a current and relevant formation in the face of the increase in global adverse events that demand an agile and effective response in the psychosocial field, especially for firefighters, who constantly confront high -emotional scenarios. This course provides essential knowledge about the delimitation and integral management of catastrophes, humanitarian aid and the application of health intelligence and logistics. With an approach to psychological and social support techniques, the course enables firefighters to provide psychological first aid, a critical aspect in the mitigation of subsequent traumas. The understanding of fire control and extinction from a psychological perspective enables an integral management of the emergency. In addition, the management of corpses and support for intervenings are relevant themes in training.
