The Master in Rural Tourism and Local Development, covers the demand for specialized training that occurs as a result of the great expansion of rural tourism that is being carried out in recent years. Tourism in Spain is one of the pillars of the economy being its vital importance for the development and growth of the country, every year they visit us a greater number of tourists from all over the world demanding a greater diversification of products and services, so the needy need to have increasingly trained and specialized professionals, taking advantage of this demand and facilitating the growth of the sector. There is also a growing social and political awareness of the need to invest more resources in the revitalization and development of the rural environment to revive those areas with greater economic depression.

Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
