MF1528-3 Course Control of hydroelectric plants

In the field of the world of energy and water it is necessary to know the different fields of the management of the operation in hydroelectric plants, within the professional area of electricity. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the control of hydroelectric plants.

- Interpret the operating parameters of the different equipment and systems of a hydroelectric power plant, in a control simulator. - Describe the starting, stop and load changes in hydroelectric plants, in a simulator, identifying the expected sequence and behavior of the different systems and equipment. - Operate the different elements of a hydroelectric plant, in a telecontrol simulator, controlling the consequences of each action. - Detail the usual configurations of the control rooms of the hydroelectric plants, identifying the different components and their function, to control the operating maneuvers to be performed. - Specify the possible abnormal situations of operation in hydroelectric plants, indicating those equipment and operating parameters that must be monitored priority and appropriate actions to each situation. - Act in unforeseen or anomalous situations: large avenues, gate breakage, pressure parts, group shooting, polluting discharge, fire or other emergency situations, according to established protocols and through a simulator. - Describe the emergency plans, demands derived from them and the actions to be carried out in front of accidents and unforeseen events.

It develops its professional activity in the area or department of production of companies of any size, public and private, mainly on their own, related to the electricity generation through hydroelectric plants, depending functionally on a superior and being able to be under their personal level of lower level.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1528_3 control of hydroelectric plants, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of energy and water, specifically in operation management in hydroelectric plants, within the professional area of electricity, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the control of hydroelectric plants.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
