Summary
The justification of a course on nursing care in transplanted patients lies in the need to train highly specialized nursing professionals in the integral and specific management of patients who have received organ or tissue transplants. Medical advances have allowed transplants to be a viable option for numerous diseases. However, these patients require differentiated care and care due to their immunosuppression, rejection risks, side effects of medication and specific complications associated with the procedure. This course seeks to fill this knowledge void, equipping nurses with the necessary skills to serve transplanted patients.

The nursing care course in transplanted patients provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to offer high quality care to people who have gone through transplant procedures. You will learn to manage and supervise the care after transplantation, including the administration of immunosuppressive medications, vital signs monitoring, early detection of complications.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
