Cardiovascular pathologies are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels originating mainly by obstructions that prevent blood from flowing to the heart or brain, so it requires immediate attention, in order to avoid the serious consequences that can lead to. Through the present course of vascular pathologies it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for students to reach a specialized training in nurse care in terms of vascular pathologies.

Goals

Among the objectives of the course of vascular pathologies we can highlight the following: - Know the work protocols of the different health centers and the different forms of health care to the patient. - Manage material and personal resources in a unit/service and basic care within the Comprehensive Nursing Plan. - Know the operation of the different specific nursing procedures. - Participate in health, individual and collective education activities. - Collaborate in the cleanliness, maintenance and sterilization of clinical material and utensils. - Analyze the general concepts in arterial, venous and lymphatic pathology. - Explore patients with vascular pathologies, including a diagnosis and establishing the ideal guidelines for treatment. - Identify the action protocol when performing various techniques. - Identify the main cardiovascular diseases that can be triggered as cardiovascular urgency. - Recognize the needs of each patient. - Establish basic nursing procedures. - Establish specific nursing procedures of cardiology.
