PRL COURT COURSE: Online course for prevention of occupational risk in dechrozadora and chainsaw

Agriculture, together with construction and mining, constitutes one of the sectors that favors the most professional risks, due to the use of diverse machinery and phytosanitary products. Especially, in this course, all the risks and possible accidents derived from the use of diverse machinery such as clearing and chainsaws are described, whose main risk is the projection of cutting objects. In a traditional way it has been believed that rural work was exempt from risks and dangers, but the statistics of labor accidents in the sector demonstrate the opposite. The wide variety of works that are carried out in agriculture, the harsh conditions in which they are carried out and the lack of knowledge about the risks that imply certain machines, substances or ways of carrying out certain works, favor that it is considered one of the activities that originates the most risks. This course highlights the need for the inclusion of occupational risk prevention in this labor sector, with the aim of training students in the most common risks in agriculture, in order to establish effective prevention plans and inform workers of the risks that involve this type of work.

This course offers training as a technician in risk and accident prevention in the agricultural sector, according to current regulations. Specifically, the risks associated with the use of agricultural machinery are specified, such as chainsaws and clezers. At the end of the training action, the student will have the basic knowledge of occupational health and risk prevention, in the use of agricultural machinery in the various agriculture tasks and will be qualified to perform the preventive functions collected in the Regulation of Prevention Services.

This course is aimed at all those professionals interested in the subject of risk prevention and occupational accidents in the agricultural sector, specifically in the use of agricultural machinery such as the clearance and chainsaw. Similarly, it is aimed at all those people, professionals or not from the sector, who wish to expand and/or deepen the subject of prevention, according to current regulations, in agriculture work.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
