Skin Course: UF0157 System and Leather Processes

In the field of textile, preparation and skin it is necessary to know the different fields of the cutting of materials within the professional area of the preparation in textile and skin. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the subjects and skin processes.

- Analyze and evaluate garments, footwear, leather goods and leather items, in its different aspects. - Relate the properties of skins and leather with the manufacturing processes or treatments they have received or that have originated them. - Analyze by simple procedures the properties and characteristics of the skins and leather, in order to identify them. - Analyze and describe the processes of manufacturing garments, footwear, leather goods and articles, in leather.

In general, it develops its professional activity in large, medium and small businesses, both on behalf of others and autonomously, dedicated to the preparation and cutting of materials for its subsequent assembly.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0157 TRAINING UNIT. Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the textile, clothing and skin specifically in material cutting, within the professional area clothing and skin and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to matters and leather processes.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
