SSCS0108 Course Socio -health care for people at home + Practical First Aid Course (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Throughout history, those who presented some symptoms of "weakness" or some dependence have been left without attending. However, at present, the presence of professionals who know how to help in the socio-sanitary field at home with special physical, psychic and social health needs, applying the most appropriate strategies and procedures to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment. Thus, this course will try to contribute the necessary knowledge to develop domiciliary physical care interventions aimed at people with socio -health care needs. This course also includes first aid procedures and techniques that will allow acting efficiently without being carried away by anxiety and panic against possible accidents or health emergencies in the school.

- Describe the main characteristics and care needs presented by dependent people and their environment, determining the attitudes and values that the professional care professional and relationships with dependent people and their environment must express. - Know and analyze the psychosocial characteristics and needs of dependent people, determining the attitudes and values that the professional care professional must manifest with dependent people and their environment. - Apply psychosocial support strategies adapted to the development of the activities provided in an established program. - Prepare the work plan at home, adapting intervention actions to the needs of the Coexipencial Unit. - Provide students with the necessary knowledge to develop basic first aid actions. - Recognize risk and emergency situations and adopt the most appropriate prevention and protection measures in each case.

In general, you can exercise your activity in the organization, execution and control of the activities of direct socio-sanitary care for people and their environment at home. Specifically, it may be hired by: Public Administrations, fundamentally municipal and autonomic, in charge of the management and provision of home services for dependent persons. of home services, associated with other technicians.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the SSCS0108 Professional Certificate SSCS0108 Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training). In addition, the present course aims to train any professional in the basic notions related to first aid, as well as instruct students in basic actions to the main health contingencies in the working world.

This course is aimed at all those interested in acquiring practical theoretical knowledge related to socio -health care to people at home, in general or to act in any basic first aid situation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
