UF2094 Basic techniques for the elaboration of precious metal elements and pieces

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of jewelry repair, within the professional area of jewelry and goldsmiths. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide knowledge about the basic techniques for the elaboration of precious metal elements and pieces.

- Apply techniques for the preparation, fusion and consisting of alloys of precious metals and welds, adjusting to the "title" or law of the alloy of the elements and pieces to be wearing, carrying out the fusion of crisols, laminating, climbing and forging, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards (EPIS) and environmental protection. - Apply techniques for the elaboration and review of precious metal items or elements, carrying out measurement operations, cutting and pending, handling tools, tools and machinery, attending to the characteristics of the element, complying with the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Apply elements of adjustment and assembly of elements, preparing elements of mobile and fixed uniñon from semi -finished material (threads and tubes, among others), using specific tools (seguetas, limas, codillos, strawberries, buriles and sandpaper, among others), performing drilling, threaded and riveted and considering the technical file. - Apply welding techniques to precious metal elements, selecting and handling torch and laser welding equipment and voltage arc, adjusting the intensity and duration parameters, carrying out the cleaning of the parties to be joined, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection.

He develops his professional activity in companies and/or jewelry workshops dedicated to jewelry repair. It works on their own, under the supervision of a hierarchical superior, or on its own.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF2094 training unit basic techniques for the elaboration of precious metal elements and pieces, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in the repair of jewelry, within the professional area of jewelry and goldsmiths, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to repairing jewelry elements.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
