Summary
Education, as an interdisciplinary research field, has taken concepts and theories of psychology, sociology, anthropology, political sciences, economics and other disciplines that have been tested in educational practices that have given rise to new concepts of educational nature, from there the beginning of educational research in the world and its historical process. On the other hand, the development of reliable educational knowledge implies the identification of research problems, empirical studies, replica studies and research synthesis, as well as their application and evaluation in the educational field. Educational research allows to acquire a new or different perspective on education or on an educational process that generates ideas on how to address a practical problem. The educational research issue is very important to the extent that it solves educational problems, it is not justified without the commitment to change society itself and educational practice.

The Superior Course in Education Research Methods aims to provide students with technical and theoretical training in the field of educational research, providing a solid basis for sciences related to it (statistics, pedagogy, etc.). Students will learn to apply research and education sciences to different casuistry that the pedagogical field demands to improve future research and their possible results.

Aimed at university degrees in the educational branch interested in directing their professional career towards the development of one of the most future professions: educational research in general, to all those interested in training in the field of research in the field of education.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
