Workshop Monitor Course and Cultural Activities in Tourist and Recreational Animation + Leisure and Free Time Monitor (Double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Sociocultural animation as an alternative for cultural work can become a mechanism that contributes to stimulate creativity, participation, group cohesion and the satisfaction of people's cultural needs. In addition, education for leisure should be introduced in daily practice. This course offers a specialized training of workshops and cultural activities of tourist and recreational animation highlighting the importance of the programming and design of this type of workshops and activities, in addition this course wants to offer teachers and teachers the fundamental technical and procedural tools to design and carry out the socio -educational intervention projects in this area.

- Program and design workshops and cultural activities within the framework of establishments for tourism and recreational animation activities, identifying and relating the cultural resources present in different environments with their possibilities of incorporation into tourist and recreational animation programs. - Select and organize the material resources and spaces to carry out cultural and recreational activities, according to the characteristics and needs of the participants and the objectives proposed in the project or program. - Direct and energize workshops and cultural activities within the framework of tourist and recreational activities establishments, in the terms provided in their programming and solving the incidents that may arise - evaluate the development of the workshops and cultural activities within the framework of establishments of tourist and recreational activities and their results, to know the level of satisfaction of the participants and the degree of fulfillment of the planned objectives. - Provide different tools for the development of leisure and free time activities: socio -cultural, sports and outdoor activities attending to the environment in which they are projected, urban and in nature. - Know the methodology that underlies the planning and application of the different activities to be programmed, especially working the definition of specific objectives, the coordination and organization of work and the supervision of activities. - Know the functions and main characteristics that define the profile of the leisure and free time monitor and recognize the influence of leisure and free time activities in the educational field.

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of physical and sports activities and leisure and free time, specifically in physical-sports, recreational and leisure animation, within the professional area of free time, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to workshops and cultural activities for tourist and recreational animation and leisure and free time.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
