Master of Permanent Training in Palliative Care + 60 ECTS credits

This Palliative Care Master offers specialized training in relief care to a patient who has a serious or deadly disease, such as cancer, AIDS or any chronic disease whose outcome is the death of the patient. This type of care is administered from the moment of diagnosis of the disease, aimed at the control of symptoms, while as the disease progresses, the treatment would be palliative, aimed at maintaining the quality of life of the patient in the terminal phase. Palliative care is applied by a multidisciplinary team that intervenes not only in the organic issue of the disease but also in the emotional and psychological field of the patient and his family.
