Summary

In the agrarian field, it is necessary to know the different fields of horsepower, within the professional area of livestock. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the control and organization of activities with stallions, reproductive females and infant foals.

Goals

- Control the management, location and transport of the stallions, reproductive mares and infant foals to provide proper well -being and obtain optimal performance within the exploitation. - Coordinate the necessary human resources in the activities with stallions, reproductive mares and infant foals to guarantee adequate yields, depending on the established objectives and activities - Prepare a cover plan adapted to the resources of the exploitation, supervising its correct application and making the relevant records throughout the reproductive process. - Use the different methods for the detection and confirmation of the heat in the reproductive mares in order to ensure the ideal moment of covering. - Use the different methods for the extraction, preparation, conservation and transport of seminal doses to be used in artificial insemination coverings. - Use the different methods of covering the confirmed mares of zeal (natural mount or artificial insemination), to achieve satisfactory results in the number of pregnant mares. - Supervise the actions carried out with the reproductive mares during their gestation in order to maximize the number of births. - Evaluate precise actions and dispose of the necessary means for the attention of mares during childbirth to ensure normal development of it. - Control the necessary actions to be carried out with the mothers mares and their foals during the lactation period, to ensure their well -being. - Supervise the behavior patterns of the infant foal and verify that the approach tasks by their caregivers are carried out at the appropriate time, shape and place. - Organize and supervise the distribution of food, accessories and food additives to the stallions, reproductive mares and infant foals to meet their food needs in each of the productive phases. - Supervise the necessary health measures and care to make the stallions, reproductive mares and infant foals to keep them in an optimal state of health.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0533_3 control module control and organization of activities with stallions, reproductive females and infant foals, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of professional. Through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
