Professional Technical Course in Immigrant Women + Intercultural Mediation (Double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Spain is already an immigration country, and will continue to be in the future. Simply walk through the streets of our cities to verify how human geography is changing deeply. This new social scenario shows that the intercultural challenge constitutes a requirement for citizenship of the early 21st century. But this demand is lived and experienced by each particular individual from the existential contexts in which it is immersed (cultural, linguistic, class), and that constitutes an element of identification and differentiation with the other.

- Promote an approach to the group of immigrant women as a population at risk of social exclusion, describing their situation and offering an analysis of the needs of immigrant women. - Enable an approach to the basic legal framework and public policies of equality aimed at immigrant woman who inspire the intervention. - Offer the methodological principles that inspire intervention with immigrant women. - Start in the design and planning of social intervention programs with immigrant women. - Provide instruments and techniques for intervention with this group. - Describe and bring the different areas of intervention with immigrant women: legal, social, health, educational, labor and in terms of gender violence. - Make an approach to the reality of cultural diversity. - Describe the key concepts involved in mediation processes. - Present reality the conflict and its resolution in the school environment for cultural reasons. - Describe the reality of intercultural mediation in the school environment and its procedural nature. - Present the figure of the mediator and its competences.

Aimed at professionals in this sector, who work with this group and want to expand their knowledge. Students or unemployed who wish to expand their training and conduct their work career in this regard.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
