DIDACTIC COURSE IN CHILD EDUCATION + METHOD COURSE REGGIO EMILIA (PEDAGOGICAL METHOD) (DOUBLE TITLE + 10 ECTS CREDITS)

Childhood education allows contributing to the physical, affective, social and intellectual development of children, this stage is characterized by being an educational phase with its own identity and characteristics, in which it contributes to compensate for inequalities and make effective the principle of equal opportunities, attending to the diversity existing in educational centers. This course allows the student to be provided with the knowledge and tools necessary for the analysis, design and development of the teaching facilitating a correct instruction by the teacher, acquiring this large amount of knowledge, skills and abilities to play at this stage. The traditional education model is taking a background due to the emergence of new methodologies that promote the capacities and competencies of minors from more natural and creative approaches. In this way, the Reggio Emilia methodology is presented as one of the most used methods at present thanks to its bases in listening, respect and exaltation of the environment and art as key elements in a basic education. Therefore, this course will allow you to know the different values and principles on which the Reggio Emilia method is supported, as well as will allow you to see the main concepts of said pedagogical method. In addition, it will also allow you to see what the role of teachers and families in early childhood, and how their implications can have an impact on minors.

- Know the emergence, curricular programming, and the main pedagogical contributions in the stage of early childhood education. -Apre the different stages of the child's development in the stage of early childhood. - Know the main language disorders of the child in the childhood education stage. - Understand the importance of concepts such as food, rest and sex education in the childhood education stage. - Acquire knowledge, skills and skills to transmit the student a correct teaching. - Know the origin and foundations of the Reggio Emilia methodology. - Identify what is the pedagogy of listening and how this Italian approach has an impact on childhood. - Highlight the importance of the environment as an educational agent and participant in child training and growth. - Explain how are the different perspectives possessed by a child and their impact on the way of educating. - Explain the theory of the hundred languages of Malaguzzi and the forms of expression in childhood. - Apply the principles of art in early childhood education through the figure of the atietista. - Work with child emotionality from the principles and values of the Reggio Emilia method. - Know the work methodology as well as materials and activities that are used in this pedagogical method. - Highlight the importance of the educational couple and documentation. - Relate education and family, highlighting the fundamental role that it performs in childhood.

This course is aimed at all professionals in the educational field, interested in guiding their future work in the Early Childhood Education sector, updating their professional knowledge, is also aimed at all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the didactics of early childhood education and the application of the Reggio Emilia Method as a pedagogical model.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
