Early care implies detecting, evaluating and intervening with problem development situations in an attempt to ensure the physical, psychological and social well -being of the boy and the girl with disabilities, disorders or at risk of suffering them. This expert course in early care: detection, evaluation and intervention + therapeutic pedagogy (double degree + 5 ECTS credits) intends to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and tools for the design and development of preventive, optimizing and compensatory actions that facilitate the proper maturation of the children in all evolutionary areas.

- Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs. - Know the scope, the target population and the main theoretical models in early care. - Learn the basic patterns of diagnosis and intervention in children with evolutionary disorders from the following areas: health, educational, family and social. - Detail the early signs of the various disorders and difficulties in the development to make possible early detection and more effective intervention. - Know the main neurodevelopment disorders. - Understand the different modes of intervention in early attention.

This course is aimed at professionals in the health, educational and social field responsible for detecting, evaluating and intervening with children with developmental disorders and alterations, as well as all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to therapeutic pedagogy and early care.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
