Master Energetic Engineering: Master in Energy and Environmental Engineering

This Master facilitates students the necessary skills to exercise as an energy auditor in building, companies and industries since according to RD 56/2016 large companies have to carry out an audit every four years. On the other hand, the worldwide energy mix is ​​changing towards a generation through renewable technologies both at the distributed generation level (energy self -consumption) and at the level of centralized generation, so the knowledge of this matter is very important for any technician.

- Learn to perform energy audits with Royal Decree 56/2016 and technical-economic viability studies of energy savings measures. - Know the two main audit and energy management standards: ISO 50001 and UNE-216501. - Know the different sources of renewable energy, both those implanted in a stable way and those found in the development phase. - Study the different components that form the facilities from a dimensional and installation point of view. - Carry out environmental impact studies in different fields. - Perform the calculation of eco -peppers and environmental footprints. - Study the different normative and technical aspects of energy self -consumption.

Once the Master in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Audit is finished, the student can work in the process of design, execution, installation, maintenance and exploitation of energy infrastructure, in addition to carrying out the performance of energy efficiency audits in buildings and industry according to RD 56/2016 and ISO 50001.

After finishing this master's degree, the design and calculation of energy facilities (solar thermal, photovoltaic, thermoelectric and wind) will be able to know in depth its installation phases and the requirements for its maintenance. You will know how to perform energy audits according to RD 56/2016 and ISO 50001 and analyze environmental impacts on projects and products you will learn to calculate the life cycle analysis and different environmental indicators such as the carbon and water footprint.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
