UF0204 Course Control of reproduction

In the agrarian field, it is necessary to know the different fields of ecological livestock, within the professional livestock area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for reproduction control.

- Control reproduction operations to achieve healthy and vigorous offspring in ecological livestock. - To specify the minimum characteristics of age, weight and other interest to be controlled prior to the start of reproductive life of both males and females. - Describe the different methods of heat detection and gestation confirmation normally used in ecological livestock. - Describe the protocol of action in the covering by natural mount or artificial insemination of a female, according to its species. - Detail the specific care of neonates. - Describe the females management protocol in the phases of preparation, childbirth and post-part. - State the needs of accommodation, atmosphere and comfort of the reproductive males. - Detail the basic actions in the different phases of the egg incubation and hatching process. - List the most important data that must be collected in the records and fill in the files and controls of covers and parideras. - Indicate animal protection measures, occupational risk and ecological production prevention in the management of animals during covering, gestation, childbirth and lactation.

He develops his professional activity in public or private companies, both on behalf of others and on his own, dedicated to ecological livestock production.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0204 Reproduction control certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different communities Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the agrarian world, specifically to ecological livestock, within the professional area of livestock, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to reproduction control.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
