AVSEC Course - Security Awareness

The National Security Program for Civil Aviation published in the BOE establishes a basic public dissemination training in security awareness. With this Basic Avsec course, it is intended to offer information on what civil aviation is against acts of illicit interference, its origins, airport security measures, the zoning of the airport from the point of view of security as well as the requirements and rules that must be met to move through the airport. These are training aimed at all kinds of professionals who develop professional functions that require free access to the restricted areas of the airport.

Through this Avsec Basic course, it is intended to train airport workers to become aware of the importance of civil aviation in airports and identify the mandatory security measures that are currently carried out at airports. To do this, the following objectives are established: - Know the legal provisions in force in this area. - Define illegal interference, terrorist acts and real threats. - Determine the objectives and organization of airport security. - Analyze control points and inspection processes. - Know the access control and security control. - Know the accreditations and airport authorizations. - Determine the proceeding for security incidents.

This Avsec Basic course offers safety awareness training for all those professionals who as part of the dwelling of their functions require free access to the restricted airport safety areas.

With this Avsec Basic course you can know what are the most frequent threats in air transport, as well as familiarize yourself with AVSEC air safety regulations or understand the operation and objective of protection measures that apply to airports. In addition, to carry out the functions that it requires free access to the restricted areas of the air to, they know them the different types of accreditations and existing authorizations.

The Avsec Basic course is mainly directed to all those professionals who, for the performance of their functions, require free access to the restricted airport safety areas, such as airline employees, airport managers, tenants of commercial spaces, land assistance service providers, cleaning and maintenance operators or security personnel. Similarly, he addresses anyone who wants to know what civil aviation is against acts of illicit interference and their impact on the airport.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
