This course in ethology, comparative psychology and animal behavior offers specialized training in the field. In the field of ethology, comparative psychology and even in that of veterinary, the study of animal behavior is essential to understand some of the behaviors we observe in domestic animals and even people. Therefore, ethology allows the study of animal behavior from an evolutionary point of view that helps us understand the behaviors related to reproduction, communication, relationships between species, altruism, etc., both in animals and in humans. Thus, with this course in ethology, comparative psychology and animal behavior it is intended to address the necessary knowledge to understand animal behavior.

- Learn the concept of ethology and other sciences related to it. - Know the most relevant aspects related to animal behavior, such as innate behavior, acquired behavior and social behavior. - Identify the fields of application of applied ethology and describe the concept of cognitive ethology. - Know the most important animal behaviors related to reproduction, such as intercourse or parental care and different types of mating systems. - Identify the mechanisms used for communication in different animals. - Analyze the different types of interspecific and intra -specific relationships that exist and know behaviors associated with them such as gregarious or altruistic behaviors. - Apply the concepts of ethology to animal welfare.
