Summary

In the field of physical and sports activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of the guide by dry or aquatic ravines, within the professional area on physical-sports activities. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the natural-cartography-conservation-meteorology and guidance.

Goals

The objectives to be achieved with this course of itineraries in ravines are the following: - Analyze resources and cartographic sources, both in traditional physical supports and in digital supports adapted to new technologies, and identify the characteristics, relief and nature of the field represented and know the territories and possibilities of traffic on foot, especially in low and half mountain terrain - analyze the topographic, geological and geological characteristics biological of a given area and identify the degree of vulnerability of its natural environment from its typification as a protected or non-protected space, to relate the critical aspects of deterioration of said environment with the practice of sports-recreational activities. - Interpret the weather information to anticipate climatic conditions and their possible evolution, based on sources of information of different nature adapted to new technologies or derived from the direct observation of the natural environment, and anticipate the adverse situations that may occur taking the necessary measures to adapt the sports-recreational activity, annuling it if necessary. - Apply orientation techniques in the natural environment of traditional use, specific to new technologies or derived from the interpretation of fortune resources, using, in line with the available means and resources, instruments, equipment, cartographic sources and/or natural indications. - Identify the characteristics of users demanding service based on the determination of their level of motor skill, of their level of physical condition, mastery of the techniques of the activity, psychic condition and their interests, motivations and degree of personal autonomy depending on their age, in relation to the practice of ravine descent activities. - Collect information from the geographical space where the ravine descent activity will be developed in relation to its topographic, environmental characteristics, to the specific regulations related to the practice of sports activities that can be applied and to their possibilities of access, communication and displacement in accordance with the characteristics of the activity to be developed. - Describe and perform the diagnostic analysis of the intervention context collecting, processing and integrating the different types of information obtained to specify the access and return itinerary, the route through the ravine, its difficulty, location of the possible exhaust routes, the level of sports equipment, the level of security and establish the development of all the direct and complementary activities that will be carried out in the development of the demanded activity. - Establish the processes and periodicity for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the objectives established in the design of a ravine driving activity. - Apply evaluation techniques and procedures in driving activities in ravines to identify the parameters that express the quality and safety of the service, paying special attention to the degree of satisfaction of all participants and establish, based on the information obtained, the measures of correction and adaptation of this type of activity in the design of future driving activities in ravines. - Enter the access itinerary to the ravine for foot displacement, by low and half mountain land, integrated into a program of driving activity of ravines, in accordance with the objectives and guidelines established in said program. - Prepare, from the Defanded Barrancos Descent Service and the typology and number of applicant users, the activity file specifying the barrel itinerary, the difficulties, the needs of materials for progression and safety, and the schedules, in order to Avoid possible contingencies, adjusting to the guidelines of the activity program. - Establish, based on a program of descent from Barrancos and the design of the corresponding itinerary, the security protocols for the protection of users, anticipating the possible risks and contingencies. - Establish environmental access and preservation protocols and determine the prevention and safety measures for the development of a ravine descent activity program in a specific geographical enclave. - Apply necessary resource management techniques in the preparation of driving activities by ravine decrease.
