Course of intervention with children: Higher certification program in treatment and intervention with children of divorced parents for university degrees in psychology (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Socio -affective development will be vital in the child's life during their first years of life, its purpose will be to "balance" development with emotions, since in the children's stage both emotional and socializing basis are established. It is a stage of development, changes and learning in which the family and educators must be working together to be a non -traumatic process and develop in an adequate way, more when there is a divorce situation in the child's parents. This course will provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to be able to develop actions to favor the treatment and intervention with children of divorced parents.

- Know the fundamental basis of treatment and intervention with children of divorced parents. - Delimit the concept of development from a global approach that integrates the physical, cognitive, psychological and affective aspects of the human being. - Develop the itinerary of the child's evolutionary course emphasizing the main milestones of its development from the prenatal stage to nine years of age. - Characterize the emotional and social development of children from zero to six years, in order to take them into account in the realization of projects or programs of early childhood education and in adaptation to individual characteristics. - Analyze how the educational styles of families influence the development of children. - Know how to apply family mediation techniques in divorces with children.

This course is aimed at students or university degrees in psychology who want to deepen or specialize in the treatment and intervention with children of divorced parents.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University and PhD master). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
