Summary
Thanks to this in progress in geriatric emergencies you will obtain comprehensive and solid training that will train you to face emergency situations in older adult patients with efficiency and compassion. Throughout the course, you will learn to quickly identify and manage specific medical problems of the geriatric population, developing precise evaluation skills and decision making. You will understand in depth the impact of aging on health and physiology, which will allow you to provide comprehensive and personalized care to your patients. In addition, you will acquire competencies in empathic communication with patients and their relatives, generating confidence and providing emotional support.

To prepare you
With this course in geriatric urgencies prepares you to become a highly trained professional in geriatric emergency management. You will learn to quickly identify medical problems in older patients and apply adequate and compassionate procedures. You will acquire communication skills and understanding of aging to provide comprehensive and sensitive care.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at health personnel according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
