MF107-2 Course Progression techniques in dry or aquatic ravines

In the field of physical and sports activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of the guide by dry or aquatic ravines, within the professional area on physical-sports activities. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the techniques of progression in dry or aquatic ravines

- Analyze resources and cartographic sources, both in traditional physical supports and in digital supports adapted to new technologies, and identify the characteristics, relief and nature of the field represented and know the territories and possibilities of transit on foot, especially in low and half mountain lands - analyze the topographic, geological and biological characteristics of a certain area and identify the degree of vulnerability of its natural environment Its typification as a protected or non-protected space, to relate the critical aspects of deterioration of this environment with the practice of sports-recreational activities. - Interpret the weather information to anticipate climatic conditions and their possible evolution, based on sources of information of different nature adapted to new technologies or derived from the direct observation of the natural environment, and anticipate the adverse situations that may occur taking the necessary measures to adapt the sports-recreational activity, annuling it if necessary. - Apply orientation techniques in the natural environment of traditional use, specific to new technologies or derived from the interpretation of fortune resources, using, in line with the available means and resources, instruments, equipment, cartographic sources and/or natural indications. - Identify, assign the specific use and perform the maintenance of the sports and safety sports material, and the individual and collective equipment necessary to, the progression by ravines, in optimal conditions of use, applying at all times criteria security and personal and environmental prevention. - Repair and adapt with fortune media sports and resources for the progression and overnightness of environments close to the ravines to travel, applying environmental criteria at all times. - Move through different types of terrain applying autonomous locomotion techniques adapted to the orography of the land, to the anthropometric characteristics, at the level of physical condition that is possessed, at the level of difficulty of the itinerary and the transport of materials. - They will spend the natural environment by applying camping and vivac techniques, according to criteria of effectiveness, comfort and environmental protection. - Move through ravines of all typology, with or without active water channel, selecting progression techniques and materials depending on morphology, geological accidents, flow intensity and facilities equipment. - Move through ravines with active water channel by selecting progression techniques depending on the hydrological phenomena that are produced by the morphology and geological accidents of the channel, applying safety criteria based on the water flow. - Use the sporting material of progression of descent from ravines to overcome the difficulties of the ravine, avoiding injuries or accidents, according to criteria of type and degree of difficulty, preserving its status and operation. - Install and restore fixed or mobile anchors using the equipment techniques of ravine descent facilities adjusting to environmental safety and protection criteria.

It develops its professional activity in the field of sports-recreational activities in nature and in that of active, sports or adventure tourism, in the areas of programming, organization, development, monitoring and evaluation of itineraries by ravines for all types of users. Professional activity is carried out both autonomously and hired, in the public sphere, whether general, autonomic or local administrations, and in the private sphere, with private and large, medium and small businesses, such as: active, sports or adventure leisure companies. Tourism companies: hotels, camping, shelters, rural houses. Travel agencies. Ski stations with complementary offer of out -of -season activities. Shelters and mountain shelters. This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1077_2 training module Progression techniques in dry or aquatic ravines, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of physical and sports activities, specifically in guide by dry or aquatic ravines, within the professional area on physical-sports activities, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to progression techniques in dry or aquatic ravines.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
