Summary
We know the importance granted to prevention in occupational risks today. The World Health Organization since 1948 defines health as “physical, mental and social well -being, and not only absence of conditions or diseases”, and this is where the point of items is found to raise awareness and give it the importance of work prevention. The course enables students to acquire basic notions of prevention in occupational hazards, so that they can identify the type of occupational hazards may exist and what type of measures should be implemented to minimize them or, where appropriate, reach their eradication.
