Summary
Therapeutic swimming is understood as those health programs that are directed, on the one hand to the compensation of the deviations of the spine, and on the other hand, to the compensation of diseases and injuries that may appear in the adult stage, using described aquatic displacements in the framework of educational swimming. Therapeutic swimming is a program that uses educational aquatic activities for a purely hygienic-pre-preventive work purpose, taking advantage of the physical properties that the aquatic environment presents. This course offers the necessary training to be able to exercise as the therapeutic swimming monitor. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

To prepare you
The next therapeutic swimming course prepares you to be able to exercise as the therapeutic swimming monitor. It will train you for the preparation and development of teaching programs in aquatic activities. According to the different methodological trends applicable to the teaching of swimming and other specialties. It also prepares you for the recovery of injuries in people using swimming as a means of rehabilitation.
Who is it addressed to?
This therapeutic swimming course is aimed at swimming monitors, personal trainers, sports coaches, physiotherapists and titled in occupational therapy. Or to anyone who wants to train in therapeutic swimming monitor.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.

Certification
Professional degree issued by Edusport, specialized center in sports training and accredited by the Spanish Fitness Federation (FEF) which will be able to access as a federated receiving the corresponding professional card in therapeutic swimming, in addition to the end of the training, the student will become part of the Spanish Registry of Professionals of the exercise (ESREPS) that collects the professionals of the exercise, establishing a standard of quality and Safe and effective advice of customers users of fitness facilities for qualified professionals.
