- Carry out operational maintenance of the bicycle and adequately prepare the necessary material to ensure its good condition and correct operation and carry out the activity successfully, avoiding injuries or accidents. - Estimate the conditions, danger and difficulty of those sections that require it to establish the most appropriate possible trajectories and techniques for overcoming them, taking into account their technical and physical level and taking into account safety criteria. - Drive the bicycle effectively and safely to be able to travel through varied terrain up to mid-mountain, overcoming the different terrain conditions. - Orient yourself to determine the location or direction that must be followed in the natural environment at all times and using the appropriate means. - Spend the night in the natural environment in areas prepared or not prepared for this purpose, using camping and/or bivouac techniques. - Recognize the resources of the environment to take advantage of the possibilities they offer without harming their ecological value. - Recognize meteorological and environmental signs to prevent adverse situations and act accordingly in the natural environment using appropriate means.
It carries out its activity in the field of sports-recreational activities in nature and active, sports or adventure tourism in the areas of programming, organization, development, monitoring and evaluation of bicycle itineraries through varied terrain up to mid-mountain for all types of users.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0508_2 Maintenance and Driving of Bicycles, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as such as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
