Summary
Sport is a sociocultural phenomenon of the twentieth century. At present, it occupies a prominent place in society, so it is logical that more and more, there are people interested in this subject. Both to study basic psychological processes, and to apply new psychological techniques in sports behavior. Therefore, the University Specialization Course in Sports Psychology will allow us to improve our knowledge and competences in areas as sports psychologists, providing information on the context of sports psychology, the functions carried out by psychologists specializing in the sports field and the basic neurological bases of the movement. Finally, it provides the necessary skills to intervene in the multiple situations that the sports psychologist can find.
