Objectives
- Describe the parts, dimensions and accessories of the ship related to transfer, loading and unloading maneuvers. - Describe the parts of the vessel related to its starting, maintenance and stowage of fishing elements. - List the working rigging and the maneuvering equipment to be used, depending on whether it is loading, unloading and/or transferring the ship in port, so that the operations are carried out in safe and efficient conditions. - Apply loading, unloading and/or transfer operations of a ship in port, taking into account the maneuvers to be carried out, guaranteeing their safety and operability. - Analyze the prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of handling means and equipment, contained in the ship's safety plans. - Apply the safety plan analyzing the prevention, safety and environmental protection measures of the ship - List the preventive means and safety criteria to be taken into account during the launching and/or transfer operations of the ship in port, in accordance with the regulations for the prevention of occupational risks, in order to minimize possible accidents.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1296_1 Maneuvering the Ship in Port, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
