Objectives

- Define the guidelines for action to support the members of the interdisciplinary team and other professionals who intervene directly with deafblind people for the development of educational and training programs for this type of people to guarantee their suitability for them. - Detail typical activities that facilitate knowledge of community services and resources. - Identify and determine coordination and evaluation processes of educational programs applied to deafblind people, valuing collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, to monitor and jointly evaluate them. - Identify methods, spaces and times for holding meetings that allow coordination to be carried out in a continuous and shared manner among professionals. - Define the points that should be part of the evaluation report of the mediator who intervenes in an educational program so that the information transmitted is significant for the interdisciplinary work team.

Career opportunities

He develops his professional activity in any public and/or private structure or organization that manages and/or provides social and educational services, cares for deafblind people and aims to improve the quality of life of the group, as well as in any other context in which the deafblind person is present. Its activity is carried out, when appropriate, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You may be hired by: Public administrations related to the provision of social services. Private entities: NGOs, associations, foundations and individuals. It is integrated into interdisciplinary teams, together with other professionals of the same or higher level and/or other professionals specializing in deafblindness.

What it prepares you for

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2375 The communicative mediator in the interdisciplinary educational team, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
