- Apply dog driving techniques, without control of the leash by the trainer, adapted to its morphological and behavioral conditions and taking into account animal welfare, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply obstacle-drawing training techniques, without control of the leash by the trainer, adapted to their morphological conditions and taking into account animal welfare, according to current regulations on the matter. - Apply the safety criteria for third parties and self-protection during the handling and training of dogs, as well as respect the applicable regulations on animal welfare and protection.
He carries out his professional activity both on his own and as an employee, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, residences, adoption centers for abandoned animals, veterinary clinics, private homes, as well as in public administrations and/or entities, related to the breeding, training, sale, care and sporting and recreational activities of dogs. Its activity, in general, is carried out autonomously, although it may depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2736 Basic training in driving and obstacle avoidance with and/or without the use of a leash, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
