- Know the scope of action, the target population and the main theoretical models in Early Care. - Learn the basic guidelines for diagnosis and intervention in children with developmental disorders from a broad and multidisciplinary perspective. - Identify the individual capacities of boys and girls, referring them to the stages of development. - Identify and sequence learning that favors cognitive, sensory and motor development. - Plan the temporary organization of the institution, verifying its adequacy to the characteristics and moments of the recipients. - Analyze, develop and apply evaluation instruments and techniques that allow their adaptation to different ages and contexts. - Delimit the concept of development from a global approach that integrates the physical, cognitive, psychological and emotional aspects of the human being. - Develop the itinerary of the child's evolutionary course, emphasizing the main milestones of his or her development from the prenatal stage to nine years of age. - Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged over time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the process of identifying and assessing educational needs. - Detect and carry out a first diagnosis in the classroom of those students with possible high abilities and refer, where appropriate, to the Educational Psychologists who are part of the Educational Guidance Teams of the area, or, where appropriate, to the Education inspection the possible cases for exhaustive evaluation and activation of the different action protocols available to the different Autonomous Communities. - Provide psycho-educational care to children with high abilities.
