- Learn to perform the main mobilizations of the patient in bed. - Learn the different techniques to measure vital signs. - Learn to administer medications. - Know how to administer enteral feeding. - Know how to communicate with patients with various pathologies, in which the communication process may be altered. - Learn to perform post-mortem care. - Recognize the signs of death. - Know geriatric syndromes, their relevance and what they have in common. - Acquire technical and interdisciplinary preparation for the provision of services to the community and dependent groups. - Describe the basic health techniques to develop social and health care interventions aimed at dependent people in the institutional setting. - Train students to develop home physical care interventions aimed at people with social and health care needs.

With the realization of the Master in Geriatrics, Gerontology and Dependency you will be able to skillfully develop the basic functions of the field of geriatrics, knowing in depth each of the geriatric syndromes that can be found and the risk factors for suffering from each disease, as well as its prevention. You will be able to provide services to the community and care for dependent people in the social and health field in social institutions or at home.
