MF0703-3 Course Organization of film production and audiovisual works

In the field of image and sound, it is necessary to know the different fields of assistance to film production and audiovisual works, within the professional area of audiovisual production. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the organization of film production and audiovisual works.

- Describe the production processes, the professional companies and teams involved in each phase of the process and their characteristic products and/or services in the production of film and audiovisual works. - Assess the suitability of sources and forms of financing and the models and financing systems (direct, indirect, public and private) more used in cinematographic productions and audiovisual works. - Specify the formal elements, work symbology, narrative structures and more characteristic genres of audiovisual works or programs. - Analyze the benefits of the collection, registration and treatment systems of image and sound and lighting systems, used in the production of film and audiovisual works. - Determine and order the resources involved in the production of cinematographic or audiovisual works to prepare breakdown sheets, based on the analysis of the specific technical documentation. - Develop work plans for film and audiovisual works, differentiating and analyzing the different methods and models of production planning. - Prepare budgets analyzing and valuing budget items and integrating their technical and economic variables.

It develops its professional activity in film and audiovisual companies of any size, public or private, of reduced or wide coverage, whatever its dissemination system and also on its own account (“freelance”)

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0703_3 training module Organization of film production and audiovisual works, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of image and sound, specifically in assistance to film production and audiovisual works, within the professional area of audiovisual production, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to organizing the production of film projects and audiovisual works.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
