UF0389 Course storage, manipulation and conservation of agricultural products

In the field of the agrarian world it is necessary to know the different types of storage, manipulation and conservation of agricultural products, taking into account the quality control that they must pass and the environmental impact that can be caused with an improper use of the machinery among others. For this, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for a correct storage, and their manipulation.

- Describe the necessary processes for the collection and use of agricultural products and organize, in a practical case, the resources available to guarantee the performance and quality of the harvest. - Relate the necessary actions to proceed to the load and transport of the harvest and schedule the realization of them for a given crop.

It develops its professional activity in the area of agricultural production management of large, medium and small public or private companies, both on their own and on their own. It is also trained to organize, control and perform pesticide treatments according to the activity regulated by current regulations.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0389 Storage, manipulation and conservation of agricultural products certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

The course is addressed to those people who work or wish to work in the field of storage, manipulation and conservation of agricultural products, who have expectations to learn issues related to their performance, operation, machinery, material and human resources etc. It is also aimed at those who want to expand their professional knowledge and notions in some specific aspect of it.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
