Summary
The extrahospital pediatric emergency course is a formation that consists of different didactic units with the objective of providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to address critical situations that require immediate care in pediatric patients. During the formation you will cover issues such as the characteristics of the pediatric ambulance, make an initial diagnosis of the patient in an emergency situation, the different pediatric emergencies, the CPR in these patients as well as the different techniques in the life support and the immediate care before a traffic accident. In addition, you will count at your disposal with a highly qualified and experienced multidisciplinary teaching team.

The extrahospital pediatric emergency course prepares you to intervene effectively and safely in emergency situations that require immediate care in pediatric patients. Through knowledge, you will be trained to perform an adequate initial evaluation, apply basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, and provide the necessary life support in critical cases.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
